My league is qb heavy scoring. Brees scored over 130 more pts than the second best qb and over 360 more pts than adrian peterson.

Now RB scoring is bonus heavy as well but 22pts for 100 yd game.... length of td bonuses a 50 yd td gets 20 bonus pts..... 1 pt pr reception after the first rec. # 5.0 bonus point(s) for 20 to 25 attempt(s).# 10.0 bonus point(s) for 26 to 30 attempt(s).

bottom lines its easier for qbs to have a bonus heavy game... Brees struggled on the road last year... Bush and Colston missed significant amts of time brees put up 637pts the year before. I'm pretty cool with taking brees just wanted some other insights. Granted they pulled the NFC east but what you think Brees is going to stop throwing 60% of the time and he was only sacked 13 times pretty amazing

Given the way your league is setup, yah, I'd take Brees first too. House rules always wins!
