ping 0 Posted September 13, 2009 Due to injuries (Pierre Thomas), tough matchups and uncertainty (Boldin/Marshall), I could use some assistance in deciding who to start. I need to start 1 or 2 RB's out of the following list: L. Tomlinson - definitely starting him already at RB1 Clinton Portis @ NYG - tough matchup, but currently leaning towards starting him as RB2 Pierre Thomas (out this week) - not a possibility Knowshon Moreno @ CIN - I'm leaning towards waiting a few weeks on him I need to start 2 to 3 receivers (3 if I only start 1 RB) out of the following 4 WR's: L. Fitzgerald vs SF - Definitely starting ALWAYS A. Boldin vs SF - I'd love to start him, but I am worried on reported "game-time decision" status (late game...would have to start a TE - J. Finley on Sunday night if I leave him in and he doesn't play). B. Marshall @ CIN - Didn't practice...didn't play...coming off suspension w/ Orton (coming off injury) throwing to him. Might have to start him, but??? B. Berrian @ CLE - Been injured..another possible game-time decision. Hasn't had time to work with Favre. I am leaning towards Marshall unless I hear better about Boldin. DST - Must start 1 - D's are HIGH scoring in our league - sacks, yardage, INT's, returns, etc... My choices: GB vs Bears - GB has been hot in the preseason - will they stay hot? Cutler is new in Chicago and no established WR's. Hmmm? Philly @ Carolina - Philly is usually a great fantasy Def in our league (had them last year), but Carolina is a stronger offensive team (IMO) than Chicago. Panthers may run the ball and not risk putting it up much, unless Philly manages to put up early points. Your thoughts on RB, WR and DEF would be appreciated! Please post yours and I'll answer. Thanks! Ping

whitey2876 0 Posted September 13, 2009 Portis - but I'm biased (see sig) Marshall - although I don't really like it. But really no other option. I truly believe that Boldin sits out. Tough one at defense. I guess hope the Jake from playoffs last year shows up and throws 4 picks. Leaning towards Philly but both are good matchups. Good Luck! Thanks for mine!
