Cal_Fan_AG 0 Posted September 18, 2009 Boldin still looks like he's hurt and going cross country for the early game (West coast teams are usually terrible in these games). I'm also not sold on Holmes yet. Yes, HUGE game against Ten. And the super bowl catch, but do you remember what he did in that game before the catch? Of course not. He wasn't very good for most of it - though was incredible on the final drive. Point is, he's been a disappointment up until the last 5 quarters he's played. I'm not convinced yet - though will gladly eat crow if he has another solid game. If SD wants to win, they are going to need to throw.... a lot. And rivers loves him some VJax and Gates.
