jrbdmb 28 Posted September 23, 2009 In a 12-team league, I've been offerred Braylon Edwards and Kevin Curtis for Torry Holt and Devery Henderson. I consider Curtis to be a throwaway, but think that Edwards has great upside for what would be my #3 or #4 receiver. Any opinions on this? (Note: We start 3 WRs, my other WRs are Randy Moss / Dwayne Bowe / Nate Burleson.)
Darth Fumble 0 Posted September 23, 2009 I don't like it, but only slightly. Its not a big deal one way or the other, since we're talking WR3/4 here. It is "sort of" a sell high on devery henderseon, since everyone wants a piece of that New Orleans Fantasy Jambalya. That probaly wont' really be that way the rest of the season, especially once Pierre and Bell get healthy to bring a RBBC attack to burn the clock down a bit. Braylon does have upside, and its not like you're chomping at the bit to stick either of the guys you're giving up on your starting roster. Go with your gut, you can't really lose on a WR4 for WR4 trade.
RamslovaMartzhata 3 Posted September 23, 2009 Wrong forum, but make the trade. Braylon Edwards is the only guy who has a chance to be a player out of all those guys.
jrbdmb 28 Posted September 24, 2009 Oops, wrong forum, sorry. That said, I figured Edwards is the only guy of these three with a chance to put up WR2 numbers consistently. Plus I don't feel like guessing wrong each week as to which of Holt / Henderson / Burleson to use as my WR3 each week; Edwards is now clearly my WR3.
