April Burford Watson Both Watson and Burkett turned themselves in today and were reportedly booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail on three counts each of unlawful sexual activity with a minor, a second degree felony and were subsequently released on $50,000 bond each. Watson and Burkett came to the attention of authorities on July 28, 2009 after an anonymous letter was sent to the Santa Rosa County School District alleging sexual relationships between two Jay High School teachers and male juveniles. School officials turned the information over to the Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office for investigation. Reportedly, two of the boys alleged that they were involved in sexual activity with Watson at her residence and the residence of Burkett between the months of July and October 2007. One other victim alleged that he was involved in sexual activity with Burkett at her residence and the residence of Watson between the months of July and October 2007. Sheriff’s investigators say that both of the suspects were questioned and that they both admitted to the alleged unlawful sexual activity. I bet the "victims" drove themselves over to the women's houses. And you know they were pumped to be doing so. Were the "victims" forced to go to the teachers house? I doubt that also. I consider them victims because a person in position of authority who knew it was wrong and illegal had sex with them. Weather they are boys or girls.
