BMoney 0 Posted November 23, 2009 'Vince Young just wins.........' has to be the one I hate the most. 'If only had receivers to throw to.....' Man, the good/great QBs (Brady, Manning, etc) can throw to anyone. Some WR make a QB look a lot better than they are (Moss - Culpepper). Commentators have said this about Vick, McNabb, JaMarcus Russell, Vince Young...........see the trend? 'Bill Belichick is a genius......' No, actually he's not. He is a great coach at times, but he's not a genius. yesterday during the packers game, Billick said so and so flew..like he was shot out of a canyon i dont pay attn to the announcers much..but i was actually try to see it who it was...and he blurted THAT out..nice... Evil Genius 0 Posted November 23, 2009 "they are winning the war in the trenches" "this guy is the total package" "speed kills" (typical in reference to Chris Johnson these days, as they continue to worship his d1ck) "you just have to put it up there and let your guys make plays" And my personal favorite: "talk about a game of inches!" Bring back Dennis Miller.

ThatAlexGuy 0 Posted November 24, 2009 1.) "The Steelers are a hard, physical football team that grinds out tough games on the ground" Steelers - 17th in Rushing Yards per game, 5th in Passing Yards per game. 2.) Any very harsh criticism on Tony Romo. Yes, he's made some stupid mistakes, but he's a fantastic QB. Top 4 QB in passing yards and touchdowns of the past 3 years. Highest rating and touchdowns in a season? 97.4 and 36. How about Troy Aikmen? 93.6 and 23. Yes, Aikmen had the better overall team and running game etc, but I'm not as much comparing these two as I am just showing how Tony Romo is underrated. Milwalkeysbeast 0 Posted November 24, 2009 "He's just a kid playing football" has always bothered me. No, he is not a kid. He is an adult man around the same age as some of the announcers who are saying it about him. If I told my friend, in a gleefully cheery way, that he plays like a kid having fun -I would get AND DESERVE a kick in the nuts. I also hate the way "swagger" is thrown around. Milwalkeysbeast 0 Posted November 24, 2009 Since when did TV ANNOUNCERS become analyst. Just call the game the way people on the radio have to call the game. Get off every players jock and call the game. I don't want your analysis, your corny jokes, your thoughts about what he or she said, your in game interviews, your halftime inerviews... JUST CALL THE GAME

JackARoot 2 Posted November 27, 2009 Ok, just though of another one while watching last night. It's when the db makes a play on the ball, slaps the pass out of the reciever's hands, and the announcer says the reciever dropped the ball.
hand banana 0 Posted November 27, 2009 when every game, if there is a great QB he is the best in the league. if a great WR is playing he is the best in the league, etc "this Larry Fitzgerald is easily the best WR in the game today" following week, the same announcers: "Andre Johnson is unstoppable! no other receiver can come close to his ability" the week after that, same announcers: "If i had to start a team right now building around a WR, Randy Moss would be my first pick. no question about it!"
