salparadise 1 Posted September 6, 2010 Chris Mortensen of ESPN is reporting that the Ravens have traded Mark Clayton to the Rams for a future draft pick. Clayton was somewhat of a bust for the Ravens and will now be able to reinvent his career with the Rams. He could be a solid third/flex receiver in all formats, as he will most likely be the #1 WR for Bradford.

At this point, I think Laurent Robinson is the clear #1 WR. He's familiar with the Rams' system and has had time to work with Bradford all offseason. Clayton will probably start the season as a depth WR behind Robinson and Brandon Gibson -- though there's a good possibility that Clayton could be a starter after a few weeks if he plays well. Good Point, although I think Clayton will end the season with more fantasy points that Robinson.
Kent 228 Posted September 7, 2010 According to NFL radio he's a great blocking WR, so this may only be a boost for SJAX.
Laurence Maroney's Nuts 2 Posted September 7, 2010 ... Clayton was somewhat of a bust for the Ravens and will now be able to reinvent his career with the Rams.
