chrisfab 0 Posted September 16, 2010 It seems it would leave me too thin at RB. But, I could make another trade down the road....its with the guy who lost Ryan Grant. He is out of my division and we don't play eachother this year. What do you think? I am on the fence about this one. Here is my roster .5 PPR league, 4pts qb td QB CUTLER/McNabb/Orton RB RAY RICE/JAMAAL CHARLES/Reggie Bush/Clinton Portis/Steve Slaton WR REGGIE WAYNE/HINES WARD/Derek Mason/Mark Clayton TE DALLAS CLARK/Vishante Shianco D OAK/Kanas City K LONGWELL
drewez44 0 Posted September 16, 2010 Ask him to throw in another RB and he has a deal! Someone on his roster who is atleast starting or maybe a GL Vulcher type to give you a little more depth. IDK his roster but maybe a BJacobs or someone similar. Any help with mine would be appreciated!
chrisfab 0 Posted September 16, 2010 Fred Taylor, Justin Forsett, Michael Bush are what he's got. Do you think Reggie Bush/Portis are good enough for my RB2 spot?
drewez44 0 Posted September 16, 2010 Fred Taylor, Justin Forsett, Michael Bush are what he's got. Do you think Reggie Bush/Portis are good enough for my RB2 spot? How many Rbs and Wrs can you start? I would try and get one of those RBs with him in that order. Go for Taylor first he will say no then comeback with Forsett or maybe even see if he comes back with that. chrisfab 0 Posted September 16, 2010 2 RBS, 2 WRS, no flex I guess the question is which is better: Hines Ward and Jamaal Charles with good TE depth or Andre Johnson and ReggieBush/Portis/Forsett with no TE depth
irish2007 0 Posted September 16, 2010 i dont think bush and portis are the best backs, although portis did look encouraging last weekend. however, i think you can get by with portis and rice and peruse the ww to see if you can find a hidden gem there. having wayne, clark and aj is pretty dominant imo. drewez44 0 Posted September 16, 2010 I think I would do it finding TE depth is not a problem this year.
Bearnut 0 Posted September 16, 2010 If it wasn't Charles I would do it. The guy is going to tear it up this year.
chrisfab 0 Posted September 16, 2010 i know...any other RB who i had ranked lower that Charles, I would do it. I'm leaning towards no on this one.
budman2010 0 Posted September 16, 2010 I wouldn't. Your right, it does make you real thin at RB. No way.
Axe Elf 0 Posted September 17, 2010 The real issue isn't so much what you're giving as the fact that Andre Johnson doesn't help you much, if at all. If you had no WR2, then I'd probly do the Charles/Schiancoe for Taylor/Johnson deal (and even then only because your starting TE is Clark). But since you have Mark Clayton and Reggie Wayne, with Hines Ward on deck, I'm not sure that you'd gain much by acquiring Johnson--and that means that you're giving up more than you're receiving. chrisfab 0 Posted September 17, 2010 thanks guys, i passed on the trade. but a guy in my division(guy i beat last week) got andre johnson and forsett for brandon jackson and santana moss!!
Dan Mach 0 Posted September 17, 2010 Better than you held off then. I like AJ, but you didn't get much in return. Trade your TE for someone better. You can get a lot for either of them.
