kujerry 9 Posted September 24, 2010 Ok, I have a guy in the league that has been bugging me for forte the past two weeks. I have been looking to add one more receiver to my team. My team is E. Manning J. Flacco A. Foster M. Forte C. Taylor D. William J. Stewart P. Hillis R. White C. Ocho J. Knox L. Murphy J. Jones M. Williams TB M. Wallice do you guys think its worth adding colston and giving up knox so I would start R. White, Ocho and M. Colston and I really like forte this year, but would it be better to get M. Turner and Snelling to replace him. does this trade help my team or make it worse? Leave link and I will be glad to give you my opinion. Thanks
berven 0 Posted September 24, 2010 I would do the deal. Turner has been hobbled and is off to a slow start, but he should out-point Forte in the long run. Colston is a marquee WR. With Snelling handcuffed to Turner, you improve your team.

chrisfab 0 Posted September 25, 2010 I'm leaning on keeping forte....he is being used like martz used marshall faulk! especially in a ppr....there are too many WRS in NO for me to love colston...you can do better. plz see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=371472

yyz2112 0 Posted September 25, 2010 OK. The crux of this deal, the Forte for ATL's backfield part, is good for you. Seriously. Forte's average YPC is a joke, and opposing defenses will soon start to cover him on the pass and dare CHI's young receiving corps to step up. Forte may well survive such a situation, but I have a hard time believing he'll outproduce Turner/Snelling. The WR swap is not much to write home about. Colston is a receiver in a system that is designed to spread the ball around to different receivers. Knox is... a receiver in a system that is designed to spread the ball around to different receivers. I can't see a sizable difference emerging between these two. The QB swap is not really an upgrade or a downgrade for either of you. Yes, they're both above-average talents, but they both are gifted game managers more than anything. Gifted game managers with a strong running game, who won't make too many mistakes. Ryan may be a slightly better producer (with what certainly is a more talented receiving corps), but neither of them will rocket you to the top of the scoring heap. So on the strength of the RB swap, the deal seems good. But do you really want to live and die by ATL's offense? To use an investing term (because fantasy football is just applied economics), you should diversify your holdings. If ATL faces a DEF that can hold it down, your team dies a flaming death that week. So I'd counter the offer on the table with an offer that simply removes the QB swap. Successfully convince your victim... err, leaguemate that there's little difference between the QB's. Acquire Colston and Turner/Snelling, and laugh all the way to the bank. Thanks for your help with mine.
