millerap 0 Posted August 28, 2011 Basically the topic explains it, but is there anyway to run the compiler/draft buddy in Excel 2008 for Mac? I have a live draft tonight that I was going to basically host the draft with the Draft Buddy, but the searches I'm getting online are basically telling me that Excel 2008 for Mac has no VB supported macros at all. Mike FF Today 723 Posted August 28, 2011 Hi millerap, Unfortunately the CC/DB doesn't work with Mac Office 2008 due to the reason you mentioned... No VB macro support... System Requirements: The CC/DB program requires a version of Microsoft Excel in order to function. The benefit of Excel is the Compiler and Buddy are both Windows and Mac compatible, however because Microsoft lost their heads a few years ago and stripped out vital code making the CC/DB incompatible with Mac Office 2008. The good news is, the CC/DB does work with all other version of Mac Office, including Mac Office 2011.

Using it for that reason was not why I purchased, I had just figured it was a bonus if it worked.
