Only there because a friend of mine is in town and we went to college here in Tucson, together. He's getting married soon to a cool chick who has a kid from a previous marriage, so he's actually here for "Family Weekend". She's a big girl for an Asian, (44D). She's 17 and pledging a sorority. She's not that cute, actually. Very smart, very athletic kid though.

 

So, we went to this bar called Dirtbags and the same bartendender, Mark was there. He's an a$$hole .... and he'll tell you himself ... you just don't fock with him, and I had to listen to him complain about Obama all day. And how his gold mine in Alaska is gonna cash in soon.

 

There were college aged girls there. I used to teach college ... so I already knew that when you are my age .... college aged girls look so much hotter than they did when I was in college. Mark says it's like a 3-1 ratio girls to guys now ... so that means there are a lot of drunk, available, college chicks any given night in this town.

 

But ... I feel like a perv. I am at the feared "twice your age" precipice ... with 20 year old girls .... and it focking sucks.

Let's put it this way. They make the best Buffalo Wings I have ever had. They are not on the menu anymore, because they "shut down the kitchen". Too popular, they serve them 1 night a week, and they don't serve anything else.

 

The burgers, everything else is just bar food, and it still smells like stale beer ... but that place was stumbling distance from the fraternity I was in. If you went to the University of Arizona, Dirtbags was "a part of growing up." So, it will always be nostalgic to a lot of guys my age, and even older.

 

It was funny ... my Republican friend from Seattle wanted to see the Washington game and at one point Mark was lecturing him about right wing politics, even at one point said, "You don't get it!" while me, the Socialist in the NYU hat just sat there and watched some pretty foul, possibly racist words flow from that bartender's mouth.

 

Hopefully, the last time I ever go there.

so, if i am reading this correctly, you are 40 years old or so ... and you have a friend who is ENGAGED to a 17-year-old college student who already has a kid? you say your friend went to this college. so, he's, what? 23?

Sorry. The woman he's marrying ( 34 B ) is like 43 and has a 17 year old daughter ( 44 D ) from a previous husband. I was assuming the reader could figure that out from when I said, beforehand:
