Bring Back the LA Rams

Offer R. Mathews for M. Austin or Dez Bryant?

Recommended Posts

As you can see in my signature below, I'm stacked at RB and my WRs are weak. I'm in a 10 team, 1-pt PPR league and most teams have at least one good RB.

There's one team in my league that's currently 3-4 (I'm 5-2) and this is his team:

QB: Stafford

WR: M. Wallace, D Bryant, M Austin, D Henderson, Hester

RB: McFadden, Mendenhall, Green-Ellis, Redman

TE: Finley, Olson

Obviously, he's thin at WR after his top 3. However, with Run DMC hurting, and Mendenhall struggling, I figure he might take a chance on an RB for WR trade.

Should I offer something like Mathews or CJ2K for Austin or Bryant? Is that fair or does it weaken him at WR too much? Would it be more realistic to offer Mathews and TB Mike/B Marshall for Austin and Green-Ellis?

Thanks in advance for helping me think thru this. If you post yours, I'll return the favor.

Yea I think giving up Mathews or CJ for Dez Bryant or Miles Austin definitely makes your team better..

Me personally i'm higher on Mathews and Dez, so I would give up CJ for Dez Bryant straight up.. If he doesnt bite try throwing in a low end WR..

Thanks Rob. I like Dez too, but I'm wondering if a healthy Austin doesn't get more targets from Romo in the future - especially downfield.

Also, Dez has already had injury issues and now he's back returning punts. Kind of scary.
