Give Fitz for Mendhenhall straight up?

My team is below (standard scoring). In a nutshell, my RBs are putrid after drafting J. Charles and Felix Jones. Guy is offering me Mendenhall for Fitzgerald straight up.

 

Should I do it??

 

QB: Romo

RB: Fe. Jones, M. Tolbert, M. Morris, D. Carter, J. Ringer

WR: Welker, Fitz, Holmes, Nelson

TE: Gonzales, F. Davis

 

I could spare Fitz but want to know if the downgrade from him to Holmes/Nelson is worth the upgrade of Mendy into my terrible RB corps. Keep in mind that Kolb looks to be hurt now and this would downgrade Fitz even further...

I think you have to do it because your rbs are so beat up. I would go around to the other players in your league and see what else you can get for Fitz. But I would do Mendy if he is the best you can get

I'd say do it also since you are much deeper at WR and need the RB help.

If you have to play 3 wrs then I would try and get Mendenhall and a throw in WR that is better than Nelson. If it is a 2 wrs 2 rbs and a flex then accept it now.

 

Even if you have to start 3 wrs and can't get a throw in wr with Mendenhall I would still prob take Mendenhall straight up for Fitz but I still try for a throw in WR.

Pittsburgh's schedule is interesting though... CLE, and CIN twice and the fast track of STL in week 16... don't know when your playoffs are but....

Thanks for taking a look at mine. Unfortunately, in this situation, I don't think you have a choice. I'm a Felix Jones owner as well (didn't draft him too high, but high enough to where he's a bust this season) and I just don't feel like I can count on him. I also have Santonio Holmes and can tell you that I really expect him to pick it up for the remainder of the year. With Plax starting to come on, there won't be so much attention given to Holmes and Sanchez has to start actually targeting him pretty soon doesn't he? I just think he's too good to not get more looks over the course of the year.

 

Good luck! Maybe you can dangle Jones out there to the Murray owner to see if you can do something with him. That's what I'm going to try to do...worth a shot.
