Taxi Squad: Do You Use It? What Are Your Rules For It?

If your league is a re-draft league it is an unnecessary complication that I would totally avoid.

 

We do have it im my main dynasty league (where our rules are also more complicated as also are allowed to draft a limited number of college players to hold for the next year).

 

We limit the taxi squad to these college developmental players as well as rookies and 2nd year players; a player may mainitain developmental status for only his first two NFL seasons and also once a player gets activated, he cannot go back to the taxi squad for that owner.

 

It does add an additional strategy dimension for our dynasty league, but it can get complicated, so it requires a commissioner who is on his toes to insure that everyone understands and complies with the system.

Of course, you should also play on a site like MFL that allows for the taxi squad to be separated from your active roster.
