Wheaties 0 Posted September 29, 2012 Faced with the following decision this week. . . Doug Martin (vs WSH) - Matchup is -22.8% according to SOS Ryan Williams (vs MIA) - Matchup is +4.0% according to SOS Ben Tate (vs TEN) - Matchup is +52.9% according to SOS, but touches might be limited 10 rush/rec = 1 point PPR = 0.5 points TD = 6 points I can also bench Antonio Gates (at KC) and start 2 of the above RBs. Though, Gates matchup is very attractive this week.
bigmark3333 11 Posted September 29, 2012 This is a pretty tough decision. I'd say I would probably roll the dice with Williams. The Cards D should keep Miami pretty well in check, meaning there should be plenty of opportunity for Williams to run. That being said, I'd say Tate has a pretty high risk/high reward matchup. He could go out and put up a 35/0 stat line or a 75/2 stat line. So if you're looking for a boom/bust type player, he might be the play. I think Gates is going to bounce back this week, stick with him if he's active. I have a pretty similar flex decision with Tate, Williams, and A Morris this week: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=408797
firemedix911 0 Posted September 29, 2012 Martin and Williams. I'll always take the starters over the handcuffs.
