btbpitt71 1 Posted August 1, 2013 In a keeper league I am keeping Kaepernick (10th), Alfred Morris (6th) and Megatron (1st). Last season I traded my 3rd round pick in this years draft for Brandon Marshall. Now I feel I am hurting without a 3rd round pick and that same owner acquired another 3rd round pick from someone else thus giving him three 3rd round picks. His proposal to me is: I keep Calvin and then after the first round of the draft I trade: Calvin, my 7th round and 13th round pick for all three of his 3rd round picks. This is tempting. I could get a solid RB2 in round 2 and then load up on RB/WR in round 3. Do I do this?
rholio 339 Posted August 2, 2013 I don't do it... giving up too much in a keeper format, especially losing the first round pick.

I believe the OP forfeits his 1st round pick by keeping Calvin, but I agree that I wouldn't do the trade. Just draft the best available RB to pair with Morris. Those two paired with Kaepernick, Calvin & Marshall gives you a strong corp to build around.
