Uberjamb 0 Posted August 12, 2013 Alright, so my league allows a manager to keep two players. These players cannot be those that were drafted in top 3 rounds the year before. The keepers count as the draft pick before the pick they were taken the previous year. My team last year was stacked, and two of the players on it were taken in the fourth round (Marshall and Charles, through a trade). I was thinking of keeping both of them, because they are 2nd and first round values. Problem is, I traded my third round pick last year, so keeping these two would eliminate my 2nd and 1st round picks. I am kind of alright with this, since Charles and Marshall are definitely 1st and 2nd round values, and are both players I expect to have big years. What would you do? Have you been in a similar situation?
420allstars 13 Posted August 12, 2013 Plan ahead a little better next time. But since what's done is done I would keep both and consider it a lesson.
Uberjamb 0 Posted August 12, 2013 Well, sure, but I don't see how I am in a bad position. Sure, I could be in a better one, but trading my third round pick won me the league last year. Basically I am forfeiting my chance to draft in the first and second rounds for players who would be taken basically 5th and 16th or so. Guaranteeing I get the players I want.
