chris_dub 0 Posted August 23, 2013 12-team, 2 keeper league in which we just drafted a couple weeks ago. I kept AJ & Martin from last season, but also got Foster back as part of a pick upgrade package. Now the guy has offered another package to take Foster off my hands. RB is not my strongest point by any means, but WR2 is fairly weak on my team as well & a AJ-Julio combo is very enticing. I would also keep Tate, so even if Foster goes down... The pick upgrade for next season is also very attractive. I've had Foster for a couple years now, and have seen him overworked & see the signs of breaking down like everybody else. Wondering if this is the best chance to cut bait & get younger?? The Offer: Julio Jones & 2014 3rd round pick for Arian Foster & 2014 15th round pick We start: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, WR/RB, K, DEF. Standard scoring with 0.5 PPR My Team: QB: Matt Ryan, Andy Dalton RB: Arian Foster, Doug Martin, Giovani Bernard, Ben Tate, WR: AJ Green, Golden Tate, Michael Floyd, Josh Gordon, DeAndre Hopkins, Justin Blackmon, Brandon Lafell TE: Vernon Davis, Jared Cook K: Blair Walsh DEF: CIN His team is: QB: RG3, Eli Manning RB: Eddie Lacy, Mark Ingram, Le'Veon Bell, Montee Ball WR: Julio Jones, Randall Cobb, Torrey Smith, Steve Smith, Tavon Austin, Brian Hartline TE: Owen Daniels, Kyle Rudolph, Tyler Eifert K; Gostkowski DEF: CHI Obviously this deal would leave me fairly thin at RB, with high hopes of Bernard being a RB2. But could also package Tate/Cook + for another RB if need be.. Thoughts? Counter? Accept? Thanks in advance for any help
Karl77 3 Posted August 23, 2013 I would counter offer with: Foster, Blackmon -or- Lafell and 2014 15th FOR Jones, Ball -or- Ingram and 2014 3rd. That would help your RB2/RB3 and help his WR3/WR4. Win win for both of you. Keep Tate. Even if Foster doesn't get hurt, Tate is going to be a good flex option for you.
