I would. Shorts is the main guy in Jacksonville and DeAngelo hasn't impressed me at all.

 

Coaching staff said they gave Mathews a clean slate and he seems to be a new player this year. He has to hang onto the ball and avoid injury, but he has a heck of a lot more potential than DeAngelo.

 

It's a gamble for sure, but a pretty good one.

I would roll the dice with Mathews. He is the only one that could be great. Blackmon is stuck in the enemic Jags offense.

Yes...do that trade. Blackmon is suspended DWill is a bust no matter what, and Mathews has looked good this preseason. With Norv gone, San Diego may be able to run an offense finally.
