Is this a fair trade? Need to decide if I should use commish veto. Will answer all links.

Team A trades Giants Defense, Fred Davis, and Ben Roethlesberger to team B for David Wilson. Team B has Michael Vick and Matt Ryan at QB already. My only issue is it seems that it's a lot of backups that team B doesn't need for a potential 1 or 2 rb who just had a bad first game. I am leaning toward not using the veto. What do you think? Will answer all links!

Thanks for mine.

Indeed - never use veto unless you can prove collusion. It is pretty early in the year for collusion, if it was near playoff time I would definitely question it. It looks to me like the Wilson owner is just pissed and if Wilson does well in the future, he will feel stupid. Let him learn his lesson about making a bad trade.

I agree with the others.

Only use Commish Veto if you can prove collusion. Looks to me like the David Wilson is angry and in a "I'm just gonna trade this guy while someone will give me something for him" mode. Maybe he's trying to get Big Ben so he can turn around and trade Vick or Ryan without being left with a waiver wire guy as a backup? Both would fetch a nice haul right now.

if you're against the concept of the veto in general that's fine, but you really think that deal is close???

if the league bylaws state that the commissioner has the power to veto trades that he deems unfair, this should ABSOLUTELY be vetoed. if the league bylaws state that the commissioner may only veto trades in the event of suspected collusion, don't veto it. pretty black and white to me.
