CallMeBigCat 1 Posted October 15, 2013 Alright so i would be trading Le'veon Bell, Vincent Jackson, and Julius Thomas for Adrian Peterson and Randall Cobb(yes I know he's hurt). Am I giving up too much for AP? My Current Team: QB: Cam Newton, Jay Cutler RB: Trent Richardson, Le'veon Bell, Willis Mcgahee, Rashard Mendenhall, and Ben Tate WR: Dez Bryant, Vincent Jackson, Percy Harvin, and Harry Douglas TE: Jimmy Graham, Julius Thomas
jivy26 5 Posted October 15, 2013 TE wise what do you have to start? Also Graham isn't certain to play. If Cobb was healthy I'd say do the trade but your giving a lot for essentially 1 player until Cobb gets healthy.
mongo 2 Posted October 16, 2013 i know this doesn't address your question but throwing this out there. Is keenan allen and andre ellington taken already, especially ellington for your situation? the kids coming on and everyone seems to agree besides their coach that he needs more and more touches vs mendenhall. He's getting there in spite of their coach. i agree with jivy. graham's hurt and NO is keeping mum on how bad and you have their bye week to deal with. ideally you'd get to a point where we know graham is healthy and past his bye week then go out and shop Julius for a better rb. Or, go shop graham straight up for AP or my fav Jamal Charles. You have two great TE's and I'd be shopping at least one around once you feel confident that the other is starting every game from here on out.
Kupper 0 Posted October 16, 2013 Yes, Jackson and Thomas will give you more points than Peterson. The Vikings offense is in shambles and it's defense is worst. They'll be playing behind all season and will be airing it out all season.
BigDaddy808 8 Posted October 16, 2013 You know Cobb is basically done for the year right? Not coming back till week 15 at the earliest. That said Peterson may benefit from freeman at qb, he throws a good deep ball so teams may have to respect the pass. I'd do it but I'm a gambler, this is a make or break trade for your season. katfile 0 Posted October 16, 2013 I may have a different opinion but your RB situation is weak and I will take AP in a heartbeat ..yes you are giving up julius thomas but I'm assuming you are to start one TE? so one of your TE will probably be on bench and Vincent Jackson is pretty up and down so far and I don't like the situation in Tampa. You will gain a sure fire starter averaging 15+ points while giving up about 10 points a game and once Harvin is back you have a 2nd WR that you can plug in for JAckson.
