redexquisite 0 Posted November 7, 2013 I grabbed Andre Brown and Shane Vereen expecting to use them as trade bait or if they do good keep them. However with my QB Rodger's out I need a solid QB but no room on roster because I picked up Brown and Vereen. So who should I drop? Here's my team: Starters QB: Christian Ponder RB: Matt Forte, Giovani Bernard WR: Brandon Marshall, Demaryius Thomas TE: Jimmy Graham Flex: Zac Stacy G/ST: Titans K: Steven Hauschka Bench QB: Aaron Rodgers RB: Andres Brown, Shane Vereen, Le'veon Bell WR: Josh Gordon D/ST: Chiefs K: Ryan Succop I am not sure about Christian Ponder but he has the highest projected points according to my league...other free agents in my league are Case Keenum, Jay Cutler, Alex Smith, EJ Manuel, Carson Palmer, Matt Schaub, Jason Campbell. nopuntintended 1 Posted November 7, 2013 If you are going to pick up another quarterback then drop Ponder...I would probably try and play match-ups each week until Rodgers is back - Ponder has a good one this week, but it is still Christian Ponder...options are fairly limited this week due to byes...Keenum, Cutler (if he plays), Manuel or Palmer. 49erGold 36 Posted November 7, 2013 This week outside of Noles its tough pickens QB ww. If your lucky Eli or Pryor are out there doubt it. Long term Keenum and Palmer are most attractive options... Keenum been lights out... rookie he's played like top 10 QB in his 2nd start. Jake Locker vs Jax looks like an ok safe bet if above are taken... if all these are taken I don't like either QB Hou v Ari game cause their both good DSTs this week. McCown is an option, Ponder he looked alright or u can pick one MNF... since, Mia abandoned pass Glennon is last case scenario or you can go Senaca Wallace. I always have top notch backup... its too important a position to gloss over. I rather have a top 10 or even top teens 2 QB cause you never know and its the highest scoring position usually and most irreplaceable. Going the Cutler, if he don't start... then start either McCown or Locker for this week. Jax DST is not scary but Ten is usually in low scoring games... I like McCown he had 270 pass yds & 2 pass TD game vs Lockers 185 pass yds & 1 rush TD. I think there too close to call. Last week Locker had tougher DST, this week McCown has tougher DST.
