ryansee 0 Posted November 13, 2013 I am #1 in my league and trying to prepare for the playoffs. I currently have SF Def and TEN def. I would like to drop SF Def for CAR defense and I have the #1 waiver. Andre Brown has not been picked up yet. My RBs are Forte, Morris, and Stacy. I don't technically need another RB, but I don't want any opponents improving at RB and I need a better defense more than I need an RB. Should I use my #1 waiver on Andre Brown and take the chance that no one else puts in an early waiver claim on CAR or should i use my #1 waiver based on need and pick up CAR? I'll answer in return. dalie 2 Posted November 13, 2013 I would taKe Brown because, one, you have a great depth just case you need it. And two, as you said it keeps your opponent from getting better.
scottsind 61 Posted November 13, 2013 You will never start Andre Brown. I have the niners defense and they don't have favorable match ups, like this week of course against the Saints. Go for need. You want to go offensive and make your team better not act defensive and stash players to keep on the bench. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=427953
dalie 2 Posted November 13, 2013 Never is a mighty big word. Look at your team if you lose one of those three. Is there good depth to cover the few points you may gain with Car D? If there is, then a "need" is greater than depth...if not, depth is a great great thing to have.
snatchit 108 Posted November 13, 2013 You can never have too many RB's in todays NFL.
