W0lverine1224 0 Posted September 3, 2014 I would receive Eddie lacy for Matt forte and cordarelle Patterson. Is this a smart trade, or not? I am a huge Eddie lacy fan and do not want that to blind me. My team is Qb jay cutler backup andy dalton Rbs:forte, Bernard, spiller. Backups rice, Hyde, hill We: Larry fitz, c Patterson, backups cooks, t willams The: jimmy graham, backup ertz Dst: cardinals K Blair walsh I realize my team is not strong. Would this trade help or hurt me?
polecatt 403 Posted September 3, 2014 If this isa keeper league trade with players you can keep for years to come I think it is a fair deal for you. If not then no way is it fair for you. Lacy and Forte are pretty much even. A majority would probably actually consider Forte the better fantasy RB this season. Patterson is your WR2 and it's possible he could end up your WR1. Your WR depth isn't that great to begin with. This trade you would be basically giving Patterson away. He is too valuable to give up. No.
TS86 1 Posted September 3, 2014 I'd say no. In most leagues Forte is drafted before Lacy. If anything, the trade should just be straight up because they're so close.
jrec15 9 Posted September 3, 2014 Definitely not. I thought you were on the other side of the trade at first. The difference in Forte and Lacy is MUCH less than Patterson, in fact I see Forte > Lacy although not by much.
