He Like Me 0 Posted December 16, 2014 Wow, we have a situation in our league where the fumble by RG3 was not counted and it cost the guy a spot in the super bowl. Our league rules stipulate that one point is given for a fumble recovered by the defense. In this instance the defense did not recover the football. roroco 75 Posted December 16, 2014 It was the same deal as with Rodgers. It was a fumble, but not a lost fumble. The turnover was not from the recovery of the fumble, but from a penalty or rule. In this case, he lost control of the ball before he when into the endzone and the ball ended up out of bounds. That is ruled a touchback and not a fumble recovery.
