vlade21 0 Posted September 20, 2004 I think I've won this one despite a sorry performance. Like my team last week, your team had more turnovers than touchdowns this week. I wish I were playing you this week.
Diesel07 0 Posted September 20, 2004 Im in need of a WR BAD!! Trent Green and Brandon- - Lloyd are up for grabs. I dont know how a MLB, Al Wilson, cant get one tackle
Zap 0 Posted September 21, 2004 Im in need of a WR BAD!! Trent Green and Brandon- - Lloyd are up for grabs. I dont know how a MLB, Al Wilson, cant get one tackle I'm still interested in Lloyd. I had a receiver on my bench score nicely this week. We can do a deal if you're interested, but it will probably have to be at least a four player swap (2 fer 2) including our "missing" handcuffs. Check out the rosters. It makes perfect sense.
Diesel07 0 Posted September 21, 2004 An injured handcuff for the 1 sleeper RB i was targeting . Im still willing to deal Loyd though
Zap 0 Posted September 21, 2004 An injured handcuff for the 1 sleeper RB i was targeting . Im still willing to deal Loyd though They're both injured, yours apparently moreso than mine. But both will be back in a week. In the ugly event of an injury to either starter, who between me and you will be in more need of the handcuff? Why would I care and how would I know what # sleeper you placed on someone? If Ahman goes down, you're protected. You need the insurance and the receiver more than I do. I try to throw you a bone and relieve you of that pos Brandon Lloyd (3 targets and 7 yards... lol) and you smirk at me. :oldconfused: I would prefer a respectful, "no thanks," thanks. Diesel07 0 Posted September 21, 2004 Im sorry, i didn't mean to come off that way. Theres little value, if any, in a backup, unless the starter gets injured, so im still thinking about the trade. I really like Hollings this year, and was VERY impressed with what he did in preseason. He has talent, and i think if given the chance to start, could shine. Nonetheless, i have 3 good backs, and once Davis gets healthy, the chances of me using Hollings/Davenport (if i make the trade) are slim to none...even if one of them gets injured again...knock on wood. Why were you so indirect about the WR  ...do you know something i dont or do you just like playing guessing games Ill get back to you tomorrow (tuesday) when i get a chance, but i got class all day, so look for a response in the PM sometime. If there's a 3 fer 3 that makes it more to your liking just propose it. Oh, and if you think Tony has big value then by all means keep him. Some think DDs fumbles have him on thin ice. I've read otherwise and am not worried about it. But Ahman does have a degenerative knee, ya know.
Diesel07 0 Posted September 21, 2004 Im not worried abot Ahmans knee, just like you arent worried about DD's fumbalitis. Najaeh's handling the snaps in between the 40's, so its all good in my hood. ETA: I need WRs, but the problem is...i really dont have any WRs to trade in a package deal Thats how bad it is I can throw in Green if you like???
Zap 0 Posted September 21, 2004 YGM Send it to fftdpatron@yahoo.com I have to change that on my profile here. The old aol account is still there, but it has other users on it and ya know how that goes...
Zap 0 Posted September 21, 2004 I rejected that one. I see Rod as my #1. I wanted Lloyd after him in the draft. Rod's value has increased in my mind (looks), and Lloyd's has slipped a bit. Still want Jerry Rice?
Diesel07 0 Posted September 21, 2004 OK, well im off to class, but just checking my mail. Maybe u want to offer me something?
Zap 0 Posted September 22, 2004 I guess it comes down to this, Diesel. Would you trade Lloyd for Ferguson straight up? The other players (handcuffs) I wanted to swap and the additional ones tossed in seem to have clouded the issue. I would rather have Lloyd than Ferguson despite his craptastic start. It could work out for either one of us. It is up to you. In Ferguson you know exactly what you're getting which may be what you need at wr. Lloyd is an enigma I'm willing to gamble on...
