Guest t.j Posted June 25, 2001 Originally posted by RK:t.j, Jordan is a great pick for you there. I would probably have taken him if he was there for me next. Originally I was hoping to pick him the 13th round or something. He seems to be the clear-cut guy that if Martin goes down he will be the man in New York, and in that scenario I will be needed a full-time back badly with Wheatley and Levens as my only other two guys. Guest Tusekan Raiders Posted June 25, 2001 Smitty - McCullough could be a waiver wire steal. Someone may pick him up, but it won't be me. Beasley and Barlow are locks for the roster. Smith would have to have an absolutely disasterous preseason, combined with a miraculous return by Hearst and earth-shaking performances by Barlow to get cut. Unless Hearst hangs it up himself, I can't see him being cut either b/c SF will give him a chance with hopes for next year if Smith or Barlow don't pan out this. Saladin might show up on some other roster not as full of RBs if he gets cut and get a shot later this year. Troy Brown - only reason I passed on him is I have Glenn. He has been the best WR available, based on last year's stats, for some time. The other concern is WRBC NE has. I still think Glenn will be there, and despite stepping up last year, there are a few guys on that roster now who could bypass him with good preseasons. I was still surprised to see a lot of guys go before him. His bye being week 17 doesn't hurt either.
