OB1 33 Posted October 10, 2003 I just wanted to go over the waiver process again, because a question came up that should be addressed, I guess it isn't clear (I know, shocker ). Here is what I put at the top of every Waiver priority post: Just a reminder that each week there will be a FA draft order. This order will be based on the standings. The last place team gets first priority, the 15th team second, and so on. Please e-mail me all add/drop requests by Wednesday at 5:00pm EST. After the Wednesday deadline, all players not dropped that week will be available FCFS until 10 PM EST on Saturday, or until the first game of the week is played, whichever comes first. Players dropped that week will not be available until the following week. Notice that it says that it is a draft order. When you send me a list of players to pick up, I process them in the order you list them, and it works like a draft where each team gets one pick and then it moves to the next team. So if your list looks like this: add Emmitt Smith, drop Clinton Portis add Barry Sanders, drop LT2 First off you are a tool, and second, you will get Emmitt before you get Barry. Once you take one player, the next team on the list gets to choose a player. Once every team has had a shot, then you will get Barry Sanders if he is still there. It's just easier to have a time to check it and be done with it for the week, I am in 5 leagues and commish or co-commish of 3. not to mention having some semblance of a life. Take a vote, if you want gametime, well do gametime. If you want me to open up the rosters after the waiver period i'll do it. I got my ass handed to me either way so it doesn't really matter at this point, but I just didn't know why b4... Next week though, I'll be ready so jaspersucksass will go down harder than Zimmer.
