Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted July 23, 2017 In cycling, you compete directly against every other rider and the course. There are almost 200 cyclists in the Tour de France, who race 2000+ miles over a three week period. It is far more difficult than a bunch of drunken fatties joyriding in carts. Marathons are one of the toughest tests of endurance and require immense stamina and athleticism. I still can't watch a marathon. Golf and baseball are "slow" sports but still better spectator sports than cycling. The ESPY's are not about sport. It is about the show. Oh, and pro golfers can't ride carts

Oh, and pro golfers can't ride carts I'll concede baseball, but golf is not a better spectator sport than cycling. There is a lot of strategy and different skills involved in a Grand Tour like the TDF - you just don't know because you aren't a fan. Hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide have no problem with watching cycling though. Both golf and cycling are boring for the casual viewer. I'm just giving Drobeski sh!t because he believes golf requires more skill than any other sport.
