For the underdogs in the title game .... swinging for the fences...

Recommended Posts

Week 16, ok, most of us are not benching the studs ... but at the flex position, some thoughts and aspirations on some of the waiver wire presents still under the tree and a few that have been picked up this year.

If you have Tyreek Hill and need a home run, you start him against Denver hoping that a) lightning strikes twice, and B) Andy Reid realizes that Maclin's return notwithstanding, you get the ball in the hands of the league's fastest player.

Terelle Pryor - he's banged up, his team's 0-15, his QB sucks, he'll need surgery in the offseason on his hand, but he's manned up for week 16 ... who rolls with him?

Dontrelle Inman: Yes he's getting targets, but will Cleveland weather cooperate and can San Diego overcome the traditional risk that West Coast teams lay eggs in these types of games?

Doug Baldwin or Tyler Lockett? Which one does Patrick Peterson try to blanket? I think he matches up better on Baldwin.

Jeremey Kerley/Tavon Austin/Kenny Britt - they get bad, bad, bad, bad defenses.

Will Minnesota juice Cordarelle Patterson's touches with a banged up WR core in an effort to derail their division rival?

Will Fuller V or Kenny Stills. A long TD is possible, ...

Sammie Coates - does he come out of nowhere again?

Defenses

What waiver wire team might deliver an outsized performance? San Diego, NYG, Green Bay?

"Andy Reid realizes that Maclin's return notwithstanding, you get the ball in the hands of the league's fastest player."

Unfortunately, Andy can be a little slow with that thinking process. Hill never touched the ball again after his big play last week?

As we get closer to game day, I am thinking Green Bay D is going to be a good play and that Patterson may also go off albeit with garbage time or otherwise meaningless stats, but of course relevant for fantasy football.

It will be important to see if Diggs and Thielen both play or if one or both sit.

Dropped Cobb

Picked up Thielen.

Played him over Cooper and Crowder.

Thank you Jesus.

Merry Christmas
