BigMek 0 Posted August 19, 2006 My current team is: QUARTERBACKS Kurt Warner Mark Brunell RUNNING BACKS Ronnie Brown Willis McGahee Willie Parker Joseph Addai WIDE RECIEVERS Larry Fitzgerald Andre Johnson Ernest Wilford Ashley Lelie Troy Williamson Greg Jennings TIGHT ENDS Jeremy Shockey Heath Miller KICKER Jay Feely DEFENSE Indianapolis Colts Ok...now you guys know my team. In our league, our starter lineups consists of: 1QB 2RB 3WR 1TE 1Flex 1Kicker 1Defense Now right now, I'm currently in trade talks with another GM about inquiring LT2. Right now, as it stands, the offer that's on the table, I've proposed giving him both Willis McGahee and Willie Parker. The other GM is down to do the trade. The question that I have now is...given the current make up of my team as well as the starting positions, will it be smart for me to give up 2 stud RB's for LT? Or should I stay with my team as it is?
Crackhead Bob 0 Posted August 19, 2006 I'd go for it, but I for one feel Ronnie Brown is in fo a banner year. LT2 and R Brown may mean Championship!!! I'd be concerned with only Addai as your bye week and injury backup though. I'd see about adding at least some depth from either trade or what I am sure is a slim WW. anyway I hope that helps and speaking of help hit me back please. Ray_T 591 Posted August 19, 2006 this trade doesnt hurt you. LT is always good to have on a team. however, its worth noting that you could use a better receiver or an upgrade at QB more than you need a RB. You're strong there. I guess the bottom line is, your starting RB's are stronger, but you will lack the depth and backup players if someone gets hurt. Its a judgement call, but I feel you dont push yourself over the top without taking a chance. if Ronnie brown explodes, you can probably work a trade to help your depth in other positions. Yeah...my WR's are kind of suspect right now. I have a trade pending in which a GM wants to offer me Roy Williams for Willis McGahee. I kind of left that deal on hold because I don't know what to do with this one. I mean...this is LT2 we are talking about. Me pairing him with Ronnie would be trouble. I said that if Joseph Addai was declared the starter already, then I'd be more tempted to do the trade..since I'd still have a solid RB. I don't know. I'm still working the wire...
