BobSanders_33 127 Posted July 30, 2017 I like him too and it is sad that he never got a shot to really be a teams RB. I liked what I saw out of him when he did touch the ball in Oakland. When I first watched him he reminded me of Michael Bush. As far as his prospects this year in Seattle I don't think I see much impact. He isn't the best blocker to assist Lacy or Rawls. He is mainly used as a receiving specialist and that role is now belongs to CJP.
Marshall 98 Posted August 4, 2017 Resigns with Seattle. YES!!!!! I love this guy. One of my favorite players ever. After he was such a difference-maker at the end of last season, it made no sense when he wasn't being re-signed. Totally bummed about that (and losing some faith in PCJS in the process)...and then (finally!) came Reece's tweet. I am fairly certain that the OLine shares our joy at this news - and that RW most definitely does.

I don't think that Kopy considers Reece to be an RB for fantasy purposes, and I know that I don't. He's a former wide receiver and current fullback. No, what we are (rightfully) excited about is what he brings to the OLine and other running backs that raises their level of play across the board. We witnessed the difference he made when he came in late last season - he had a measureable impact. And as for his blocking...? Reece showed his value blocking in the wild-card playoff win over Detroit. He played 32 of 73 snaps (44 percent) that night -- when Thomas Rawls rushed behind him for a Seahawks playoff-record 161 yards and Seattle, for one game, got back to its most successful identity under coach Pete Carroll.
