scottsind 61 Posted July 13, 2017 It seems like whenever I do a mock I have the option of taking some rb with upside like Crowell or choosing from Watkins, D. Thomas, or Doug Baldwin in the 3rd round. As I have 2 keepers in my league this would be my first pick so I need to make it a good one. I have Julio Jones and Shady as my keepers and am wondering what option you thought would be my best and maybe even why if you have the time. Thank you! weepaws 2,460 Posted July 13, 2017 Crowell. I think he will have even a better season then last season, and harder to find that really good rb2 later on then a wr2.
scottsind 61 Posted July 14, 2017 Thanks dude. I have been stuck in this mode of grabbing one of those WRs and then getting Ameer Abdullah. Think he has a good year?
weepaws 2,460 Posted July 14, 2017 I'm having a hard time about him. I'm not sure yet, so I'm waiting to see how he looks come this preseason. He has a lot to prove. 1. Can he stay healthy. 2. Does he indeed have the skill set to be a rb1 in the NFL. And right now I'm not to sure because we haven't seen enough of him yet to make that call. Plus Riddick looked real good after Abdullah was hurt last season. So I'm kinda thinking a 1a1b situation might be the case.
Ray_T 591 Posted July 17, 2017 Crowell. I think he will have even a better season then last season, and harder to find that really good rb2 later on then a wr2. I agree. He's got a coach that could make almost anyone productive running the ball. with improvements to the line, I'm expecting a better season. and if the QB play is better than last year (I dont see how it could be much worse) then teams will have to respect the pass and that will help Crowells YPC as well. Poker Joker 7 Posted August 10, 2017 I agree on Crowell. Especially since he's really the only part of Cleveland's offense that they can really count on for doing anything. He'll see plenty of opportunities at the least.
delchay 6 Posted August 15, 2017 If this is PPR then I would grab Baldwin over Crowell. If not PPR I would still take Baldwin. He is a yardage hog. I don't like the Brown's QB situation. ( What else is new) Can Crowell repeat that YPC he had last year???
