Bottles 0 Posted August 22, 2006 I take LJ 1 then at 2.12 I take Chad Johnson, and at 3.1 I take KJ. FWP was gone. I could've taken Droughns, JJ or Bush. I also could've taken Larry Fitzgerald or Gates to mix things up. 1. What do you think? It comes back to me and I take Donald Driver at 4.12. I take Brady at 5.1, only b/c I didn't like my RB/WR options (Shockey was also gone). My WR options were J. Walker (strongly considered this), J. Galloway or Lee Evans. At RB I could've had Gore (didn't realize till it was too late, or I might've done this) or Addai. 2. What do you think? At 6.12 I take DeAngelo Williams b/c I need an RB3, and I also take Lee Evans, who I can't believe is still here. I could've taken Crumpler. or a sick backup QB. 3. What do you think? hadji 0 Posted August 22, 2006 KJ was a safe pick because it gives you a decent #2 RB. I would have gone Fitz and hoped to get some sleeper rb's later like Gore or Addai. I think taking Brady there was a good choice. DeAmgelo and Evans are great picks. Good draft. Thanks for the help on mine.

I think going with KJ was smart as well bc I believe you should take a 2nd tier RB over even a stud WR just bc they get so much touches.. however with Fitz it could be argued that he gets 100 balls a year.... KJ is slightly safer than Droughns bc of him losing Bentley and his legal stuff. Evans that late definitely is nice, and you can't complain about Brady there because he is 2nd Qb on the board in most cases. Walker is boom or bust, but you took the safe route and that will probably work out to your advantage- plus its one less headache...Chad Johnson at 2.12 was a steal.
