he Jaguars lost their 2015 first-round pick for the season to a knee injury during rookie minicamp and now their top choice in 2016 has reportedly suffered a knee injury as well.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that cornerback Jalen Ramsey has suffered a knee injury that’s currently being characterized as a small meniscus tear. He adds that a second opinion is coming next week and that Ramsey could be back for the start of camp “if all goes well.”

If the initial characterization is correct, it is a less significant injury than the torn ACL that defensive end Dante Fowler suffered last season. Given the pending second opinion, though, there will likely be some breath holding around the Jags in the next few days.
