Keep RB5 or grab Kelce as TE2?

Recommended Posts

12 team ppr

RBs: McCoy, PThomas, JBell, DMac & Shonn Green.

WRs: AlshonJ, Roddy, KAllen, KBenjamin, MWheaton

TE KRudolph.

If I end up needing to start Shonn Green, I'm probably beyond help.

I could drop him for Kelce, which gives a little flexibility, and if Kelce lives up to hype, I have tradable assets. And it's not like I'll have to watch as another owner scoops up green for big numbers anyway.

Thoughts?

I guess I am more of a stash as many RBs as possible type of guy. If I have a TE that I am happy with especially. I really think Rudolph will be pretty good this year so I would sit tight for now. If Greene, well plays like Greene this week then by all means drop him.

I think Green's value is frontloaded as he will eventually start losing losing touches to Sankey. That being said... he still could produce okay numbers for you for a little while if needed. I am guessing until their week 9 bye (if his knee holds up). In your case, Kelce's upside is limited as a TE2... you would essentially stash him away on your bench for either trade value and/or KRudolph's week 10 bye. My risk tolerence in trading real value vs potentially trade value is always predicated upon how deep i am at that position. Given your group of RB... you may see more value out of keeping Green. I wouldn't drop a guy that you may need to start to pick up a guy you may be able to trade. Of course, this all goes out the window when Green goes for 39 yards this week and tweeks his knee again and Kelce hauls in two TD's!

Thanks for mine.
