C Rogers What do you guys think? Compliments? Criticisms? WHIR I have the same draft position so I've been thinking abuot this a lot lately. I like the top 3 picks, I've made similar ones in drafts (although I usually go LJ). What other RB2s were available besides KJ? DId you pass on Droughns? Brady is a pretty decent value at 4.12, but picking a QB high does make it tough to stack up on elite WRs/RBs, however, I think you did pretty well in that dept. Driver is a good WR2. Foster/Jones gets you depth at RB, however, I may have passed on Jones in favor or a WR, but you got such great value on them...that's an odd spot, I'd be interested in other people's thoughts. Cooley is alright, I don't like Bryant. Rackers in ther 12th is horrible and inexcusable. DO NOT DRAFT A KICKER EARLY. It's sucha correctable mistake, Just don't do it, you can get other skill players. I'm not so into the late picks, Charles Rogers?!?! I give you a B-
timozbuck 4 Posted August 6, 2006 I didn't want to draft a qb that high, but I got Brady as the 7th QB off the board so I felt I couldn't pass on him at that point. The Rackers pick was a bad one in hindsight. I'm high on Bryant as he is their #1 and should rack up some points in garbage time as the 49ers will be playing catch up from the 1st quarter on. If Rogers doesn't have a "great" preseason then he'll be involved in a waiver transaction.
lguero1 4 Posted August 6, 2006 7 QBs taken by round 4. you should be more stacked and all the more reason to pass on brady. a RB should have been taken in brady's place (But i love foster, ftr.) i would like to see how the QBs were taken. i did something simlar to what you did with the 2nd overall pick. i went lj, moss, droughns, and i am leaning to another wr in the 4th round unless FWP is there. same format as yours with flex. when it comes to QBs, yell like Braveheart, "Wait! Wait! Wait!"
timozbuck 4 Posted August 6, 2006 The qb's went like this. Actually, I got Brady as the 8th. I had him ranked as #2 on my personal cheat sheet. 1. Manning 1.4 2. E. Manning 3.12 3. Delhomme 4.11 4. CPep 4.9 5. McNabb 4.8 6. Palmer 4.7 7. Hasselbeck 4.6 8. Brady 4.
