TORAIDER 0 Posted August 25, 2006 I like your team. Is your league a PPR? If so, I really like your WRs. The only ? is at QB. Will Palmer be the 2005 Palmer? and I don't think Green will not have the success he has had in the past. Just my 2 cents.
PatsGirl1785 0 Posted August 25, 2006 I am hoping for Palmer to have a solid year....there arent alot of QBs on waviers. I took a shot I will see how things pan out.
J5 0 Posted August 25, 2006 Very solid draft. Team looks very good and deep.
metzgerman 0 Posted August 25, 2006 Nice draft. Deep. I also have a chance to snag Palmer with my keeper. So hard to tell how he will do just coming back. Good luck.
Me_2006 14 Posted August 25, 2006 I agree. Very good depth. Good idea snagging Green and Palmer. If Palmer returns to full health, he's a lock as a stud, and if not, then you've got a proven 4,000 yd passer to fill in while he recovers. Green is a starter in most leagues (including mine) and I think you made a great move picking him up as a backup. I also like having Maroney and Barber. You could potentially get great value out of them if you look to trade them to the owners of Dillon and Jones. See if you cant package Horn and Barber to the owner of Jones for his #2 WR and a RB with lots of upside or that is in a good situation with the opportunity for a lot of touches. Thanks for the help on mine, and good luck.
mmeds1228 0 Posted August 25, 2006 Nice looking team. I'd also say monitor the QB situation as both guys you have are slightly risky. I personally think Witten is a bit overrated so I would also monitor him. If he is not productive, I would use some combo of Maroney/Barber/Branch/Jones to pick up a solid TE. If Witten does well, you have quite a team then! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=224459
FAN OF STEEL 0 Posted August 25, 2006 Team looks good...you don't say if it's PPR...If so your team looks even better. Maybe try to sure up WR's a little...Horn still may have health issues.
templeheels 0 Posted August 25, 2006 Very nice team. I would drop or trade one of your (good) defenses to shore up depth at WR, RB or QB. But you did a heck of a job.
kcsportsguy 0 Posted August 25, 2006 Not bad. We will see how Palmer is soo. It's only his knee, and not his arm, so he should have the tools. It is not determined yet, if Palmer can get the mental aspect out. He has been complaining about pain.
NastyNate 0 Posted August 25, 2006 Amazing team.. You did a good job top to bottom thanks for the help
badassbroncs 0 Posted August 25, 2006 Solid team throughout, have enough depth to overcome minor injuries if required.
nocarbs 0 Posted August 25, 2006 really like your wr's. lewis is a good #3 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=224374
dominus florenzus 0 Posted August 25, 2006 Very nice job! Also, if you need to trade later on, you have a lot of WRs to choose from. Good team!
bjlmonster 0 Posted August 26, 2006 Solid Team you got there, QB's: C. Palmer, T. Green - I really like Palmer coming back this year, we will know more Monday, but all looks good. I don't like Green and think you may scour the WW for a hot QB early in the season to replace him. RB's: Edge,Caddy,J. Lewis, M. Barber,L. Maroney Solid group here if Lewis is healthy and Edge gets some blocking. Barber will just be RBBC headache, but I love Maroney to be a stud if Dillon goes down! WR's: Harrison, Horn,Driver,Branch, M. Jones Good group. I think Horn rebounds well, Branch will play eventually, and Jones has a ton of upside (I own him in both my drafts this year!) TE: Witten DEF/ST: Bucs & Ravens K: Graham Solid group also here. May consider dropping a D if someone good is available on the WW (QB maybe?) Who is avaialble on the WW? PatsGirl 0 Posted August 26, 2006 no good QB's...only starters on the list left are D. Carr and B. Johnson...Green is a proven 4000 yd QB and as long as he stays healthy he will do fine
