Neek 0 Posted August 28, 2006 How do you think I did? Any glaring holes to fill? Obviously I'm going to drop somebody prior to week one and pick up a defense. Some thoughts first: I was unable to handcuff Deshaun as D'Angelo Williams went shortly after I took him. Working on a trade to rectify that, but I have a few other currently starting backs and hoping one pans out. The Priest pick in the 15th, I dunno. He's not officially done yet, and if by some grace of god he ends up playing...it'll be a very high reward with nearly no risk other than the roster spot for a few weeks. OK on to the picks, again, picking 9th in a 12 teamer no PPR, no keepers, 6 pts all TDs, picks in order: LaMont Jordan Chad Johnson Chris Chambers DeShaun Foster Ahman Green Marc Bulger Chris Brown Donte' Stallworth Ben Watson Cedric Benson Joe Jurevicius Jake Plummer Peerless Price Jeff Reed Priest Holmes Any thoughts? Thanks in advance and I will help you in return Forgot...we start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DST
futurecub07 1 Posted August 28, 2006 overall i would say that your team is very solid. the only hole that i can see is with your TE. watson is good, but you should get another good TE while there is still one out there Please See Mine
pigsooie 0 Posted August 28, 2006 if its no PPR I do not like Lamont in rd 1 at all. I think you definately need more RBs because Foster, Brown, and Green are all likely to be hurt by week 7. I really like your WRs though very solid. Bulger will be a top 5 QB I don't see why people are waiting so long to take him.
veebs4 2 Posted August 28, 2006 I drafted from the same spot, in the same type of league, only exception being 4 pts/TD pass. I had a decision at 1.09 (S-Jax or LaMont), and I chose S-Jax. I feel your pain re: RB depth and injury proneness. It was difficult to get a Tier 1 RB (LaMont), tier 1 WR (CJ/possibly Chambers), and still get another solid RB. I think, as someone else stated, your RBs may present problems based on their injury history, but the rest of your team looks pretty solid. The only other problem I see is trade-ability.... you are not especially deep at any one position, which makes trading a bit difficult. Good luck! .My 12-team results from the 9 spot. Blastoise 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Overall a solid team but I didn't like the jordan pick in the first round. S. Jax would have been better. He's going to be a monster. WR's are ok, chambers is the only one that stands out and a great pick in Bulger. Overall a B. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225418
HawkeyeFootball 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I think C. Brown may struggle a bit this year. I think the Titans will be playing from behind a lot this year and keep the running game down. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225416

Might want to package some of those for a proven RB. How do you think I did? Any glaring holes to fill? Obviously I'm going to drop somebody prior to week one and pick up a defense.
