Free Agent help!

EDIT: Johnson was picked up!!!

 

I'm in need of a backup. I have Matt Hasselbeck as a starter and I drafted Billy Volek as my backup. Now Kerry Collins just signed with the Titans so is this trouble for Volek? or will Volek stay the starter? Not much out on the FA market for starting qb's. So should I:

 

A: Keep Volek

 

B: Drop Volek or H. Baskett for J.P. Losman

 

C: Drop Volek or H. Baskett for C. Pennington

 

I know it's pretty sad but our FA list is really dry. 12 team - 20 man roster. So what is the best thing to do??

i think brad johnson is a better option than volek or collins or losmen. he won't score a ton but he will be consistant

Brad Johnson. He filled in nicely for Minnesota last season. I had to use him as a starter and got good production fantasy-wise. I think he is underrated.

I would watch the Tenn. situation for a couple days since FA is dry not too many would jump on those 2 and if Collins starts you have him as option #3

i would go for johnson, i personally think he is a better qb than volek and losmen and brad is a very smart player and wont throw many INTS, and i heard that he is just shinning in this new offense

I'm going out on a limb and saying losman. They say Evans catches anything and everything and they'll be playing from behind a lot. Between those 2, thats what I would do.

Losman...i think he should do ok this year, plus i'm not a big fan of Volek keeping the starting job with Collins and Young there...Thanks for answering mine. Good Luck!
