Should I pull this Trigger?

Recommended Posts

My RBs are Lamont Jordan, Mike Bell, Maroney, and Gado (16 teams league... didnt get too high on RB after being the 14th pick overall)

My WRs are Roy Will, Plaxico, E. Kennison, B. Engram and Michael Robinson.

I have just gotten an offer for Roy. Wil + Mike Bell for Ernest Wilford + Frank Gore. I am skeptical of Mike bell since he is never gonna be a fulltime running back. I have heard from various sources that E. Wilford is a ready to become a superstar this year.

so.. do I pull this trigger?

You are improving at RB and dropping off slightly at WR. I think you have to do it. You currently only have one back on your team who will see the majority of the carries for their team. If you had Gore you will have two along with Maroney who will steal carries and take over when Dillon gets hurt. Gado has become a third stringer in GB with a healthy Ahman Green. You might consider dropping him and picking up another young second string guy in case the starter on another team goes down (like Harrison in Cleveland or Morancy in Houston, etc). I like Wilford this year, but I dont think he is going to perform anywhere near Roy Williams who is playing in Mike Martz offense now. But I think RB points are more important. Michael Robinson or Marcus Robinson for the Vikings? There might also be some young WR out there that you could pick up and wait for them to start showing some skill (like rookies Holmes and Moss, who may end up being good as the season progresses).
