FBH ** 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Trying to swing a deal in my 10 team league, My team is in my sig. I am considering offering my Heap/Lundy for his Gore/LEvans. Is this a fair offer? I want to start the negotiations a little high and work my way down to a better trade. His other WR are Coles, Evans, Givens, Lelie, Driver, Galloway. Also do you think that it would be a good move to try to up the stakes and try Rhodes/Addai/Heap for Gore/Driver? A little info about his team- Deep at RB (Edge, McGahee, Gore, Dunn, CBrown), you see his WR above, and LJ Smith at TE (he is panicking a little bit with Stallworth in town) Thanks for your help guys, I will help with yours. -FBH
paul revere 0 Posted September 8, 2006 I think I'd do the deal. Lundy is going to get vultured by Morency and Dayne. Heap is a top notch TE but Watson will be a big target for Brady this season. Evans should be the go to guy in BUF but the QB sucks. Gore would sure up your RB options. If you want a back-up TE after the trade.....see if Leonard Pope is on the wire...Dennis Green has been singing about how much he wants to get the TE involved in the red zone and this kid is a freak. 6'8"/265 with hands and speed..... played at Georgia. FBH ** 0 Posted September 8, 2006 If you were giving up Gore/Evans would you make the trade to get Heap/Lundy?
Groundhog 24 Posted September 8, 2006 I'd say that's a bit lopsided in your favor. You can afford to give up Heap with Watson on your roster, and Lundy is not just part of a RBBC, he's part of a crappy RBBC. And in return you get a clear #1 RB who averaged 8 ypc in preseason, and a clear #1 WR (albeit on a lousy team)? Plus, given his strength at RB, and relative weakness at WR, why add minimally to RBs and detract from the WRs? I think going Rhodes/Addai/Heap is a fairer deal. At least that way he gets both Indy RB options, and if one of those guys either goes down or breaks out, he'd end up with a clear #1 RB in a top offense - the potential for this might be enough to get him to do it. please see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=230017
ggroovy17 0 Posted September 8, 2006 definitely lopsided in your favor, you might have to give up more than Lundy. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=230000
