Dascoopman 0 Posted September 23, 2006 Ok so should I pick up Santana Moss, it seems like a no brainer to me, if I do should I drop Darrell Jackson/Lavernaeus Coles/Reggie Wayne for him? I'd lean towards Jackson but want some advice. Please leave link i'll gladly help you out too. Thanks
Illini4evr 0 Posted September 23, 2006 Man your league must not have a lot of people in your league to have so many great players. I'd recommend giving up Jackson for Moss, with the arrival of Branch Jackson will not be seeing as many tosses and Moss is always going to be a solid play down the stretch. DspSphinx 0 Posted September 23, 2006 Neither... I would keep what you have. But if you really want to pick up Santana Moss then the only player that you should consider out of those 3 is D. Jackson.
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted September 23, 2006 I agree .. Moss will be an upgrade to Jackson. Help with mine pls http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...p;#entry2718696
samsquirrel 0 Posted September 23, 2006 i wouldn't jump on that just yet - washington's offense isn't doing that well if you can, wait and see if coles is playing this week or not. then pick him up. moss should have good week vs. houston. jackson is probably going to see reduced time with branch now in seattle - could be a good long term replacement for jacko - but i would wait to see if washington is going to do anything. Illini4evr 0 Posted September 23, 2006 Washington is going to soon be prime with Portis returning to near 100% health. Expect to see more offensive production and more catches for Moss.
dats007 1 Posted September 23, 2006 I'd keep what you have. Sure Branch is going to take away some of D.Jax's balls, but I still like what the Seahawks offense has to offer more than the Redskins. They look AWFUL (the 'Skins that is)! Jackson is Seattle's best, most dependable WR and he and Hasslebeck have a long standing rapport that Branch is going to have trouble penetrating. However, Peter King reported on KJR (our Sports Radio channel here in Seattle) that he's heard rumors that Jackson will be traded in the next two weeks. I think it's a crock, but who knows. The Redskins haven't shown anything and don't underestimate the years of chemistry Hass and Jax have. Thanks for answering mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...319&hl=vick
Melvinbet 5 Posted September 23, 2006 Is there no one else you could drop? If not, stay put with what you have. Remember who is throwing to him. See mine please

Thanks Jackson: Yes Branch will be taking some of Jackson's production away, but I think that's for the better. What I mean by that is that the addition of Brach will give Hassleback one more target. And soon Stevens will be back at TE. One MORE target. Having all of these weapons on the field will allow Seattle to spread the ball around and make it difficult for teams to defend every option. The result will be less looks, yes. But the looks that Jackson will get should probably be for some big plays. And since Jackson, Engram, and Branch will all be competing for the same position, look for Jackson to kick it up a notch and prove his worth. Coles: Chad Pennington looks great so far. Yes, nay-sayers are everywhere. "What about his shoulder". "Will he last all year?" However, as long as Pennington is healthy, look for him to continue his chemistry with Coles. Wayne: You can't seriously be thinking about dropping Wayne, a #1 WR, for Moss? BOTTOM LINE: Keep your roster the way it is. If you REALLY want the exclusivity that Moss provides, drop Jackson. But keep in mind that Washington has shown NOTHING so far.
Camisado 0 Posted September 23, 2006 yeah djax is no longer the #1 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=236497
huggy 0 Posted September 23, 2006 Nope keep what you have. DJAX and COLES have had pretty good weeks, and i really like them, no need for moss. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=236501
SaintsInDome2006 441 Posted September 23, 2006 Can you drop anyone? i have no idea why people are still liking Culp these days. Pennington has a shaky past so maybe you need the extra QB, but San Moss will produce at some point. Culpepper just seems to be doing what he did last year which is destroy his team. I would not drop any of your wr's for SanMoss, but if you had to drop someone Culp would be the first one. How can anyone start this guy and rely on him?
