I really like Alex Smith. He had a tough def last week but still got decent points. He's not afraid to toss the long ball either. Go with him.

Thanks 4 mine!

I'd go with Alex Smith.

Reasons:

1) Hes got a new off co-ordinator (Norv Turner) who really knows what hes doing.

2) The team Picked up Antonio Bryant and has quietly assembled a good crew of receivers and their new RB looks pretty good.

3) He was a #1 overall pick. You'd like to think the guy has some talent if he was picked #1 overall.

4) the arrival of Larry Allen helps solidify a young O-Line that wasnt all that good last year.

based on the above, its easy to project a much better season for Alex Smith. and if you look at a comparison I did, on another thread, the numbers he put up as a rookie last year are very comparable to what Eli manning did in his rookie year.

all the tools are there for a turnaround, I think you should take the opportunity.

i kinda like frye in this matchup. with edwards and winslow there, and as anemic as oakland is on both sides of the ball, i like frye to put up big numbers. alex smith would be my second choice against kc.

I would go with Warner or Smith. NO passed well against Atl and Warner has better recievers and Smith has been playing well and has a poor D this week to go against.

Go with Smith.

Thx for mine

well, just an FYI

I think warner will put up good numbers this week, but if your league penalizes turnovers (ie fumbles lost, interceptions) then this drastically hurts Warner's value.

if there is no penalty for either of these things, Warner may be the guy to take, but he could just as easily get yanked from the game too.

I'd do some checking to see if that injured hand has come back to cause problems. That was what actually got him benched in St. Louis. he hurt his hand and couldnt grip the ball properly and fumbled and threw ints.

buyer beware.
