kgoldman_aj 0 Posted September 27, 2006 I’m desperate at RB. I will likely drop Norwood (other choice is C. Benson), as I also have (now don’t laugh – I inherited this team) C. Taylor and L. Jordan (told you I was desperate). Since we auction FA pick-ups tomorrow night, what order would you choose for overall season value: Maurice Jones-Drew, Maurice Morris, or Michael Robinson? - Rushing Touchdowns Award 6 points for rushing touchdowns in the range of 0 to 100. - Rushing Yards Award 1 point for each 20 rushing yards. Award 2 points for 100 rushing yards. - Receiving Touchdowns Award 6 points for receiving touchdowns in the range of 0 to 100. - Receiving Yards Award 1 point for each 20 receiving yards. Award 2 points for 100 receiving yards. - Receptions Award 1 point for each 1 reception.
Highland Chargers 0 Posted September 27, 2006 Bottom line for me is the simple fact that Shaun has a broken foot...so how long does that take to heal? He will buy you some time. But Robinson might the future of SF, due to fumblitis that Gore is stricken with. However, they made it sound like Gore will likely be back soon, like week 4, but how much can his ribs take. I would say a ###### load considering a starting RB like Gore wants to due nothing but prove his existence!
strangebrew 0 Posted September 27, 2006 gotta go with maurice drew here. nolan has already said that gore is their guy. he may end up on the sideline when they are at the 1 or 2, but robinson has no real value other than goaline. morris won't be the guy for very long, as it currently sounds. drew's carries/receptions should only increase as the year goes on or when taylor goes down. thanks for your help with mine. oh almost forgot, not so sure i'd drop norwood. dunn is not very durable. any other options for drops? benson is tough to drop in wk4 as well. dalie 2 Posted September 27, 2006 Drew is the way to go first, then i would say Morris then Robinson. Hard to say though with the last 2...if SA is only out 2 weeks (possible) then you only have Morris for 1 game (against Chi. ) due to Sea week 5 bye. So if you think SA is back in 2 or 3 then go for Robinson 2nd.http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=237981 See mine?
iforgotmypassword 0 Posted September 27, 2006 gotta go drew for the season long outlook. Morris will only start til SA is back. No matter how well Morris does, SA is the man there. Robinson will someday start, either at WR or RB, but not now. They love Gore in SF, and he's only a 2nd yr back, so they'll give him the benefit for the fumbles... Overall, Gore has been fantastic this year. No way they'd mess with that now. Robinson might steal GL carries til they're sure Gore is 100%, but thats it. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=237898
degochopper 0 Posted September 27, 2006 Drew is the call. Everyone knows Taylor's shaky history, and he looked good last week.
Horsecollar 0 Posted September 27, 2006 I lean towards MaMo. SA is out for what, an estimated 6 weeks? Who knows if that is accurate or if the foot will dog him the rest of the year. IF you go with drew your your hoping for freddy to get hurt, SA already is. I dunno, sure drew looked good but its 1 game, he hasnt really proven anything in the league. I gotta believe that as long as taylor is healthy at best they will be platooning. Just a thought http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=238044
