McGahee and Wayne for T. Bell and Holt?

I am currently in 1st with the most pts in my league with a team that I KNOW has ????'s. Trying to decide if I should roll the dice and go with T. Bell or stay put with McGahee.

 

Not posting whole rosters b/c its basically a stright up 4 player deal but I have McGahee and Gore as my 2 Rb's. I usually start Rhodes as my flex. Scoring is PPR and .25 per rush att.

 

My thinking is that while McGahee leads the league in rushing he has yet to score a TD, the BIlls O-line is terrible, and Losman is improving but still makes bonehead plays EVERY game.

 

I admit to having a bit of a FF infatuation with Tinker Bell but think that with Shanny finally givin him the feature role he is ready to be an elite FF back. He hasnt scored yet either but Denver is obviously a better team than BUff at this point in time. Problem is if Bell doesnt blow up then I have a very risky situation at Rb's with him and Gore.

 

Getting Holt for Wayne doesnt hurt either but to me its really about the RB's.

 

Who do you think comes out better in this deal? Would you gamble with T. Bell?

tell you the truth. I would stay away from Den RBs. it's big gamble. but wayne to holt is big upgrade. I think wayne's better perfomance is still to come but holt is bulger's favourite. Saying all that, I think Mcgahee is too much to give up. he has been getting yards so it's only matter of time before he get TDs.

Don't think I'd do it. You can never trust Shanahan, and McGahee has looked better than I though he would this year. I'd stay where you are.

I wouldn't do it. MacGahee is a workhorse and he's going to get some TDs. Remember, he had 13 in 2004 and that was with starting only 11 games. Plus I think MacGahee's schedule has a few more easy matchups: Detroit, Green Bay, the Jets (once more), Houston and Tennessee.

Appreciate the feedback. Looks like everyone thinks it not the best idea.

 

I think it boils down to whether or not you trust Shanny which you guys clearly dont and nobody really should.

 

I just like T. Bell and the fact that his bye is this week when I dont really need him and then could use him for the rest of the season.

 

What do you think about Gore for T. Bell? This deal wont land me Holt though.

I'd do it because MacGahee is going to give you headaches all year long. I think Tatum Bell is going to become a FF stud and Torry Holt is an upgrade. Thanks for answering mine.
