ramblin'wreck 0 Posted October 3, 2006 I think you are giving away too much for Andre Johnson. He may be an early season wonder only. THanks for helping with mine.
dumbassmax2001 0 Posted October 3, 2006 I agree with previous poster.....giving too much. I would not do this trade. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=240431

sped1103 0 Posted October 3, 2006 I'm going to disagree with the other posters because I'm very high on AJ and wish I hadn't passed on him. He is one of the most talented WRs in the NFL and he's finally putting up stats because Moulds is the best compliment he's ever had, Carr is really developing under Kubiak's system and the Texans continue to fall behind early and throw late. As long as those factors are constant this season, AJ will probably finish top 5. I'd give up the inconsistent Santana Moss and Horn to get him. And make sure the #2 in the deal is Horn. Don't give up Edwards. Thanks for mine.
SnapHook42 0 Posted October 3, 2006 AJ killed me last year... I wouldn't do the deal
lv_2_hack 0 Posted October 3, 2006 I disagree totally with all the ppl thinking you are giving up too much. Despite what ppl say Brunell Sucks!! Moss will be very very inconsistent. Carr is a good qb and when given enough time he can throw the football. Also houston will be behind most of the games they play in and Carr will look to johnson most of the time. I say pull the trigger while sa moss's value is high. Give him moss and horn, b/c edwards has more upside than horn does with colston taking away looks. tiger99 0 Posted October 3, 2006 I'd have to say I think this is a great deal. Johnson has been very solid the first quarter of this season. He gets at least 6 catches a game and will give you about 100 yards and a TD. Carr has developed very well under Kubiak. He has the highest QB rating so far this year.... and the defenses Houston has played aren't slouches (Philly, Indy, Wash, and Miami). Houston's defense is horrible and they give up a ton of points, meaning the offense will have to throw the ball alot to catch up. So AJ will get more looks and catches. Also this is the first year that AJ has a solid WR opposite him in Eric Moulds. Moulds is a great complitment WR. Santana Moss is way too inconsistent. He will have an occasional 3 TD game like he did last week, but how many TDs has scored before this last week... ZERO. He also only gets about 4 catches a game. Joe Horn was a great wideout, but this year and last year he hasnt done anything. It looks like Colsten is the apple in Drew Brees' eye. I would do this deal. woodchuck312 0 Posted October 4, 2006 I'd take the deal. Johnson is awesome this year and gets tons of looks from Carr. Santana Moss had one great week on Sunday. Take away that game and look at his stats for the rest of the season, about 100 yards and no TD's. Meanwhile Johnson has 400 yards and 2 TD's, he's getting 100 yards a game and lots of catches. Joe Horn isn't getting much attention in NO, Colston is getting more production and Bush is getting looks as well. Johnson is going to be a top 5 WR this year. Imagine how great Carr would be this year if he had an offensive line that gave him more than .25 seconds to throw. Carr and Johnson are extremely underrated.
