Santana Moss for Chester Taylor

Recommended Posts

I give Santana Moss, I get Chester Taylor.

I am leaning heavily to accept this trade. I think Taylor will be more productive in a long run. But the problem is .. with Taylor, I will have 5 players on bye at the same time in week 6. Would you do it if you were me? Would you sacrifice 1 week for a long term gain? Or I should just stay put?

My current WR and RB roster is as follows. This is a PPR league. We start 2RBs, 2WRs, and 1W/R flex.

RB: LJordan, Dunn, AGreen, Droughns

WR: SMoss, Branch, RWilliams, Harrison, Jennings, Bryant

And leave your links. I will answer all, as always.

I would do it, you have great WR depth and so-so at RB. I have Taylor, and I agree, I think he is going to be big, if for no other reason than he gets 30 touches a game.

The link doesn't seem to be working for me today. Maybe I'm doing it wrong...mine's the "2 blockbuster" post. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Make the trade. You are trading a #2 wideout; last week being more the exception than the norm, for a #1 Rb who is getting as many carries as he can handle.

Did everyone take into account the fact that if I replace Moss with Taylor, it's almost a certainty that I will lose in week 6? If not for this, I would have accepted the trade already.

What's your record? If you can afford the loss then go ahead and make the deal. Moss caught 3 passes and had 2 TDs. How many times is that going to happen? I have Taylor, and there is NO WAY I would trade him for Moss. Anyway, if you cant afford the loss, then shop Moss to some other Schmo, but I would take the trade....

Well looking at wk6

you'd have Jordan playing at Denver who has what appeared in stopping NE running game a good run D and have Dunn playing at home against the NYG which def isn't too shabby.

So just based on the current RB line up you have it probably would be a tough week anyway.

For the trade to work in your favor you'd probably be looking for Branch to come on later as he gets worked more into the game plans and Taylor comes on as you have already mentioned. I believe I would take the trade if I thought at week 6 I would be in the top or middle of the league standings and that I would only win 1 or less games anyway. If I were at the bottom of the league's standings and I had an opportunity based on what the line ups I would be facing look like think I would pass on the trade. Taylor will give you some better options at RB from week to week.
