drasgear 0 Posted October 5, 2006 See my roster below. I have been offered A. Johnson for Reggie Williams and Muhsin Muhammed. 1/2 of me says it's a little too much, the other 1/2 says just do it as we only start 2wr's and 1 wr/te. What do you guys think? I feel like I'd better my starting wr's, but I'd be giving up my 2 wr's with the most upside and left with the two that have low ceilings. Bulger, Kitna Tiki, Edge, Ahman DJax, Chambers, Muhsin, R. Williams, I. Bruce
bravo 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Andre is a great WR, and if I were you I would do it, but beware Williams is on the rise and with Leftwich throwing rockets all over the place he is in a good situation. Very iffy and definitely a coin flip/judgment call. I would just never play Muhammed so I wouldn't feel like I am losing much, but that is just me. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241174
cjsks 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I like it... Johnson gives you a stud #1 WR, kind of like what I'm looking for with my trade that you commented on... I replied to the comment you left if you'd be so kind to have another look: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...p;#entry2754059
lilryxry 0 Posted October 5, 2006 i say go for it since you already have CHAMBERS and DJAX and ROY WILLIAMS...that's a good trade i believe...now please see mine
rottytiny 7 Posted October 5, 2006 I'd go for it, AJ is a stud who's team is usually behind and if they are ahead he probably had a good day. I still have a hard time trusting Grossman, but thats just me, and I think Williams will come back to earth when Matt Jones returns. Jones will cut into his production,Jones may be the number one guy when he gets heathy. Good luck, see mine.
drasgear 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Anyone else? I am really on the fence about this and have to decide within 2 hrs.
Killer B's 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I would do it. AJ is the only true weapon Houston has. He is very consistent. mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241202
Hey U Guys 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Thanx for mine. I would do it because Andre Johnson adds another good WR to your squad where you are already pretty deep with D Jax, Chambers, and Issac Bruce.
siorestech 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I think this trade depends entirely upon how much depth you have at WR. You look strong in this department. Jackson, Chambers, and Johnson would be a great trio, so in your case I would do it. You still have Isaac Bruce as a backup too and he's been very consistent this year. Lord_Nelson 0 Posted October 5, 2006 It is a toss up - but you would get a stud WR.. I like your other recievers as well. I think that Houston will be passing a lot, and I think they also have a somewhat favorable schedule as well. Good luck - and thanks for your post!
jbenn22 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Definetly with your depth at wide out id go for it. The bears usually are ahead and that will limit Mush's performance a lil bit even tho he has been stellar so far. Andre should be a stud the whole year, with them having not much of running game and more than likely to be behind alot http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241235

Williams, I. Bruce With the addition of Branch and Burleson, I think DJAX is just another # in Seattle. You never know who is goint ot have the big week. Chambers is a stud with no QB in sight as Harrington is the backup. Bruce is aging and when they throw it, it's usually to Holt. I like Johnson, but if it were me, I would hold on to Reggie & Mush as both teams QB's are playing phenomonally right now and they have not found there running games yet. Hold out for a better deal in a week or two. I truly believe you can get more if you are patient. thanks for your help also!
Seattle Schmitty 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I agree, get AJ. thanks for mine

tiger99 0 Posted October 5, 2006 i think its a great move for you. aj is a stud this year. you know houston will be playing from behind alot this year and they will be throwing alot. it also helps that carr is playing alot better under kubiak. this is a great move for you and you would still have great WRs still on your team. Brownsfan21 1 Posted October 5, 2006 i'd grab him since you start two wideouts. Williams is looking good for now with the absence of Matt Jones as Reggie is peaking right now.
dalie 2 Posted October 5, 2006 Good move for you, I would do it! I am trying to get Andre myself! Thanks for mine
AoO 0 Posted October 7, 2006 I'd go for it. Your depth is decent, and you only start two. Also, Houston's bye is this week so you've got Andre solid for the rest of the year. Thanks for seeing mine.
