bearphin 0 Posted October 10, 2006 After I turned down getting P Manning for LT2 last week, the other owner has countered offering me Peyton and Reggie Bush for LT and Reed (K-Pitts). Here's my current lineup, not including waiver claims I have open: QB Pennington McNair RB Laurence Maroney LT Tatum Bell Mike Bell WR Larry Fitz Housh Keyshawn Cotchery TE Winslow K Reed Josh Brown D Philly Jax So, what do you guys think. This would kinda help with the pain of loosing LT in my RBs, and would be a serious improvement at QB. Im torn. I will help with yours.
ChickenLittle 0 Posted October 10, 2006 As long as Bush gets points for ST scores, I'd go for it ...
bearphin 0 Posted October 10, 2006 As long as Bush gets points for ST scores, I'd go for it ... Not in this league - thats what has me a little worried although I know the TDs will come.

McNair is terrible, and hasn't played well except for 3 quarters the whole season. Don't get stuck with with him the rest of the year. You have solid RBs to offset the loss of LT, but protect your interests at QB

You have solid RBs to offset the loss of LT, but protect your interests at QB QB is covered by Manning, not an issue, the Rb's take a hit but if neede you could probably package a QB and RB for a better RB since you don't need 3 QB's with Manning on the team. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=242672 By the way take the trade
DocTre 0 Posted October 11, 2006 I would never ever trade Tomlinson. It would have to take a dreamy offer. I like Manning, but this isn't that offer.
vlade117 0 Posted October 11, 2006 I'd do it. The combination of pts from Manning and your RB's seems better than Pennington/McNair and your RB's. thanks for mine
freewaydog 0 Posted October 11, 2006 i wouldnt do it. i think penington will rebound
Beyond Chaos 75 Posted October 11, 2006 It's hard to give up LT but having depth a RB will help. It's tough to do the trade this week since Manning is on the bye and LT faces San Fran. I don't know how long the offer would last but would consider waiting a week before doing this trade. On a side note....Manning does have only 1 less rushing TD than LT....go figure. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=242686
seh2000 5 Posted October 11, 2006 Outside of the one week, manning has been an "average" QB, nothing unbelievalbe. That being said, though LT2 has struggled a bit, his Schedule is cake in upcoming weeks. You'd take a big hit at your RB and there's likley not much on the wire, so I'd stay put. I'd make the deal because it does not look like your team is competitive enough to win. Peyton manning will help at QB and you get an adequate fill in in Bush. if it's a keeper league or a dynasty league, I'd take that deal and run. i
